No experience is required to try scuba diving. Our Try Scuba Diving experiences are designed for beginners and are conducted under the supervision of a professional instructor who guides you through the experience step by step.
Most people complete their Open Water scuba certification in three to four days. Training includes classroom learning, pool practice and open water dives where students demonstrate the skills they have learned.
Yes. Miami offers access to reefs, wrecks and artificial reefs just offshore, making it a great place to learn, train and continue diving. Many divers start locally and then build experience through additional courses and dive trips.
Students will be required to have personal surface support equipment such as masks due to meet personal fit, sealing, comfort. Snorkel for Safety. Fins and Dive Booties are required to affect swimming ability and propulsion while scuba. Ocean Safari also recommends a Wet suit which can vary depending on climate weather conditions. The Wet suit or Skin Suit offers protection and against the Sun, UV and marine life.
